Post Treatment instructions after fillers

Post Filler Treatment Checklist

• Apply an ice pack or cold compress to the injection area after treatment to help reduce swelling.  If swelling or redness persists too long, please contact your doctor and filler injector.  Call us at 209-551-1888.
• It is normal to feel a "firmness" in your injected areas for the first few days after filler treatment.  Over time, the area will soften, leaving you with a soft, natural looking result.
• Many patients return to their normal routine/activities immediately after cosmetic filler treatment, but you should check with your physician for his/her recommendations.
• Makeup may be applied shortly after treatment if no complications are present.  We recommend a clean or new make applicator.  Apply makeup gently, avoiding strenuous rubbing of the injection area.
• The injection area may also be gently washed a few hours after treatment, avoiding aggressive scrubbing or rubbing.
• Sunbathing, or excessive UV exposure should be avoided until the redness or swelling have subsided.
• Immediately report any worsening or persistent symptoms to your plastic surgeon/ cosmetic injector.

At Surgical Artistry, injections are provided by Dr. Calvin Lee and Dr. Tammy Wu, both of them are board certified surgeons.  Dr. Calvin Lee is a general surgeon and Dr. Tammy Wu is a plastic surgeon.  Both work together at Surgical Artistry in Modesto, CA.

We treat injections as surgical procedures - with care, dexterity, and sterility.
